When you make an appointment with our mobile veterinary clinic, you can expect superior care, a compassionate and experienced veterinarian, and a wide array of available services. Here are a few things to do and know to prepare for our visit.
Prior to your visit, fill out our New Client Registration form.
First, we'll talk. We'll want to know about your pet's health history. If you have records from a former veterinarian - especially of vaccinations - these will be very helpful. Otherwise, please be prepared to tell us everything you know about your animal's health history, and any current questions or concerns you have. We'll ask about diet, elimination, exercise, sneezing, vomiting, and general behavior.
Then we'll examine. If the visit takes place at your residence, we'll do the exam in your home, unless we're visiting an outside animal. In that case, the exam will take place in the yard.
What We'll Do:
- Examine the eyes
- Examine the ears
- Examine the mouth
- Examine the cardiovascular system
- Record body weight and temperature
- Palpate the organs.
Things to Note:
Many cats are shy, particularly when it comes to the vet. Please make sure your cat is ready for us in a place they can't hide. A carrier or small bathroom is a good place for your cat to await our visit.
If your pet is scheduled for an ultrasound, please provide an area with an electrical outlet and dim lighting.
We can provide many services, including wellness checks, vaccinations, and blood tests. But if something is beyond our mobile capabilities, we will refer you to an area specialist.
